Ha Noi Corner Restaurant has become a staple for authentic Northern Vietnamese cuisine in LA. I’ve been visiting since it first opened with a smaller menu, and while they’ve added many new items, the quality of the food has remained consistently excellent. I make it a point to come here at least once every time I’m in the city. Although I’ve tried various dishes, my favorite remains the Bun Cha Ha Noi. The service has been outstanding on each visit.
This place offers great food and great service. The authenticity of the Northern Vietnamese dishes is commendable. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the service is fast. It was my first time here, but it definitely won’t be my last. In fact, I’m planning to return tomorrow evening to get their coconut escargot for my parents. The meal I had was truly outstanding, with strong and complex flavors that complemented the fresh seafood perfectly. The menu is a mix of traditional and inventive items, with the salted egg yolk flavored dishes and bun dau mam tom standing out as must-tries. If I lived nearby, I’d be here every week.
